Floating Olive Branch

Chocolate Infused Dark Balsamic

$21.95

Blended dark balsamic and natural dark chocolate flavor creates this complex, bittersweet vinegar. This vinegar works beautifully as a marinade for slow-cooked pork, drizzled over hearty radicchio, or swirled into a bowl of vanilla ice cream.

Culinary Perks:

A lovely way to enhance desserts. Use to marinate strawberries or cherries. Add to homemade gelato, a punchy addition to baked goods (chocolate cakes, brownies, or muffins), a tangy condiment for puddings, budino, or panna cotta.

Another use for chocolate

I do like the taste of this vinegar. I tried it on strawberries but I am still looking for some wow ideas to make use of this vinegar. I look forward to the next cherry season.

It almost tastes like chocolate syrup, YUM!!! So delicious! I heard from Thomas DeLauer that this stuff has WAY more polyphenols than ACV. This was the reason for my purchase and I am beyond satisfied with my decision. I plan to keep my kitchen stocked with this at all times.

Pickled Strawberries

Bought a small bottle to try and my son loved it drizzled on Strawberries so we decided to pickle some with it. It is so good and I can't wait to pickle other fruits with it!

Vegan Majic

We have very good friends who are vegan. We dine together often. Vegan food is easy and can be inspiring and delicious. Except for what they call. "cheese". Well, this solves that short-coming. A couple of drops and even that stuff is quite good. We also use it in Moles and other Mexican dishes, and it is wonderful. Add some to your next batch of chili for a great change of pace.

Both chocolate and cherry vinegars are robust and full bodied and enhance many dishes - entrees as well as desserts.
