Apple & Walnut Charoset

Ingredients: 

1 cup chopped walnuts 

3 Gala or Fuji apples, peeled and diced 

¼ cup Seasons Vinoso Wine Vinegar 

¼ cup Seasons Honey Ginger White Balsamic 

¼ cup sweet red wine or maraschino cherry juice 

2 tablespoons light brown sugar 

1 ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon 

Pinch salt 

Matzo crackers, for serving 

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a medium baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the chopped walnuts evenly on the baking sheet and roast for 5 to 10 minutes, or until toasted. Remove from the oven and set aside to cool. 

Place the walnuts, apples, wine vinegar, balsamic, sweet wine, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a large bowl. Stir to combine, cover, and refrigerate until ready to serve. Serve Charoset with matzo crackers on the side for dipping. Serves 6.
