This is a Greek olive varietal but grown in Spain. This is an example of an exceptional, early-harvest Koroneiki extra virgin olive oil with high Polyphenols. The aroma is a nice mix of strong tropical and herbal scents. It is a very robust oil that is quite bitter, pungent, and fruity. It is complex with many herbaceous flavors, but mostly the dark green characteristics of cooked artichoke, green tea, nettle, black pepper, and prominent green banana.
