This rich, creamy salad dressing is perfect for seasonal leafy greens and vegetables. We used Green Chili Infused Olive Oil, one of our special Aromatizado oils, to add some verdant heat and twang to this dressing. Baklouti hot green chili peppers are crushed with freshly picked olives, resulting in an oil with a fresh, spicy kick. The avocado and sour cream balance the chili pepper-infused oil, rounding out the heat with mild creaminess.
Makes 1 cup
Ingredients:
1 avocado, peeled and diced
2 tablespoons sour cream or plain Greek yogurt
2 tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar
2 tablespoons Green Chili Aromatizado Olive Oil
1/4 cup vegetable broth
1 garlic clove, peeled
Garlic Infused Salt and cracked black pepper, taste
Instructions
Place avocado, sour cream, vinegar, olive oil, vegetable broth, and garlic in the bowl of a food processor, and blend until smooth. Season to taste with salt and pepper and transfer to a sealable container. Refrigerate your salad dressing for 30 minutes before serving.
