Margherita Pizza Meatball Skewers Recipe


16oz frozen cocktail meatballs 

2 cups jarred pizza sauce 

8 sourdough bread slices 

3 tablespoons Gremolata Infused Olive Oil 

2 teaspoons Garlic Seasoning 

1 cup marinated sun-dried tomato slices 

1 cup fresh mini mozzarella 

1/2 cup fresh basil leaves 

2 tablespoons 18 year Traditional Balsamic Vinegar



Preheat oven to 400°F and line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil, set aside. Place cocktail meatballs and pizza sauce in a large pot, stir to combine and bring to a low simmer over medium-low heat. Cook for 15 minutes, frequently stirring, until meatballs are hot. Remove from the heat and set aside. 

Place bread slices on the prepared baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with seasoning. Place in the oven and bake for 6-8 minutes or until toasted. Remove from the oven, cool enough to handle, and slice into squares. Skewer tomatoes, mozzarella, basil, and meatballs, nest the skewers onto the bread slices. Before serving, drizzle the skewers with balsamic.
