Ingredients:
4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
2 teaspoons Fleur de Sel
1 teaspoon baking soda
5 tablespoons Family Reserve Picual Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 egg
1 3/4 cup buttermilk
1 cup golden raisins
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Place flour, sugar, salt, and baking soda in a large bowl and stir to combine. Add olive oil, egg, and buttermilk to another large bowl and whisk to combine.
Make a well in the center of the flour mixture and pour in the wet ingredients. Stir the dry ingredients into the wet center, creating a loose dough. Add the raisins and, using your hands, knead the ingredients together until the dough comes together. Form into a ball and transfer to a parchment-lined baking sheet or oven-safe skillet. Score the top with an "x".
Bake for 45-55 minutes or until a cake tester comes out clean. (When you tap the bottom of the loaf, it will have a hollow sound). Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
