Golden Thai Chili Cosmo Mocktail

This mocktail is inspired by the classic Cosmopolitan, offering the same bright and refreshing character without the alcohol. A sweet tart syrup is created using cranberry juice and our Golden Thai Chili Fruit Vinegar, infused with warming spices like cinnamon and cardamom. The zesty heat and balanced acidity of this vinegar make it ideal for mocktail recipes, delivering a flavor complexity similar to top-shelf liqueurs with no alcohol required. Finished with bubbly soda for light effervescence, this refreshing mocktail is lively, flavorful, and easy to enjoy any time.

Ingredients: 

½ cup cranberry juice 

¼ cup granulated sugar 

¼ cup Golden Thai Chili Fruit Vinegar

1 cinnamon stick 

4 cardamom pods 

Unsweetened ginger-lime soda, chilled  

Orange peel and cranberries, for garnish 

Directions:

Place the cranberry juice, sugar, fruit vinegar, cinnamon stick, and cardamom pods in a small saucepan, whisk to combine. Bring to a low simmer over medium heat, stirring frequently, for 10 minutes or until the sugar dissolves and the mixture becomes syrupy. Remove from the heat, remove the baking spices, and set aside to cool at room temperature. Fill a shaker or a large glass with ice, then add the syrup and soda. Stir to combine and strain into coupe glasses. 

Garnish with orange peel and cranberries before serving. Makes 2 Cocktails.
